I thought it would be interesting to oversee the process of a commission. Both clients told me what they wanted. One included pictures for inspiration, but definitely wants the horizon line a third up the page. She wants green grass and few clouds. A typical summer day on the water! I have started sketching.

My next client feel in love with a 48x48 at Huff Harrington in Atlanta. It was sold the next day, so she decided she really would like to commission me the piece in a 30x40 vertical instead. Here is the original, the 30x40 cropped, and the sketch.
