Only By The Grace Of God
I feel during my journey through battling cancer I have been very quiet, because that is what God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, always whispered in my ear, "Be Still." I prefer to keep to myself when I go through the best storms, so I can hear God, and I can be led by His Spirit of love, comfort, and security. Thankfully I have been able to paint on my good days, and there were actually a lot of good days!
But there were those times I didn't know how I was going to make it. But I can honestly say that the only time I felt really good was when I was leaning whole heartedly on God. Reading His word, writing what I heard Him say to me, writing down what He led me to read. Or even the many sermons available on You Tube. Random ones would pop up on my phone, and I knew in my heart that it was meant for me to hear. I can gratefully say that as of my last bloodwork I am normal! I am healed. And so many ask, how when this is supposedly an incurable cancer. First of all, I knew from day 1 that God said to be that I will be healed and I will be whole. I was not sure what Whole meant. I do now. I live with forgiveness, I live with acceptance, and I remain in love towards all. Those who have hurt me, no longer have that over me. This is one of the most common problems in life that we can not forgive those who have hurt you. It is possible and you can accept and love them for who they are.
I attend a Bible Study at St. Andrews (in the Old Village) with Joanne Ellison as the director and founder of Draw Near to God. There are about 300 woman who meet every Thursday. I thankfully was told about this group before I started chemo again June of 2023. They literally not only lift me in prayers, but were able to visit me, give me hope and joy as I went through the worst 8 months of my life. Without them, I don't know how I would have made it. In October 2023, I changed oncologist and was able to decrease the side effects, Thank God!! They were still bad but not nearly as bad as the past. I was able to paint again! I was told by my new oncologist that he could pull my numbers down some, hopefully to 100, (they were around 230, normal is 15 to 20)but I would need medication the rest of my life. I told him that was not good enough and I was going to be healed! LOL! Little did I know that God was at work, weaving His tapestry, I, as always, was just along for the ride...
A month later Joanne walked into our bible study and so graciously asked me if she could pray over me. I was thrilled, of course. She and Allie placed hands on me to pray. I was so grateful, but others had prayed over me many times like this. Always, I never take it for granted and I am always so grateful. The next day I went in for my bloodwork which takes a week. I returned in a week, and if you could have seen my oncologist face when he opened the results! :))) My points had dropped from 230 to 30! The following month was 25, the following month was 19, the following month was 14 and today I am holding at 16! (Once again, normal is 15 to 30) Yes, by the blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and God, I am healed. I will not look back in disbelief for He told me the first day. I asked Him many times to not only heal me but to make it so obvious the He did it! I still listen to my oncologist, I respect him to the moon and back, and he laughingly said "you are cured." Whether he meant it or not, LOL, I don't care! I know I am being held closely by our Lord, and He hears our prayers and He is with us every step of the way!
Go With The Flow
I have been healing God's way for 5.5 years and can honestly say WHAT A RIDE! I wish I could say that it has been easy, but the truth is that when God brings major changes into your life, it is not going to be easy. If you have followed my story, I have always given God my soul, my mind, my body for His Will to be done. I heard from Him at the very beginning of my journey that I am Healed and I am Whole. At the time I questioned what does WHOLE mean? I am still not there, is all I can say. I still battle with fear. But when I pray and be still, the amount of comfort from our Lord is immeasurable.
I was first diagnosed with a grim report form the oncologist. Since then I am now labeled as stage 1, nonaggressive. Whatever! They can label me and I am grateful, but I am ready to shout it from the mountains that I AM HEALED! Gods timing...not mine. So for now I will continue to heal myself the best I know. His wisdom is to be patient, be calm, be at peace...nourish and love yourself daily.
I do follow CHRISBEATCANCER.COM...I follow the great advice he gives and stay close to the Lord.
My last two paintings I posted are Show Me the Way and Go With The Flow. That is my life right now. I honestly know my choices r because He has led me. I went to a cancer center in Tijuana mainly to purchase and receive high doses of Vitamin C that is not offered in the US. I managed to obtain my goal, but the trip, the experience was not easy for me. I became violently ill from an infusion that rocked my world. I was there for only half of my time required, but I returned home with 3 months worth of the high dose VC.
I question my God for sending my there, but all I can hear is that this was part of my journey of learning about life. I will hold dearly all of the woman I met and witnessed being so joyful and filled with God's love, as they battled stage 4 cancer. Their journey is so much harder than mine, and I was the one so sick. I didn't have what it takes to go through those circumstances. I felt defeated, but grateful that I could leave. And truly grateful that I am not stage 4, just stage 1, nonaggressive. It has taken me 3 weeks and counting to regain my strength.
The journey to healing God's way continues, but I have a new truth to my soul. He is leading, I claim that I am healed in His terms, and I will always give Him all of the glory for being by my side the entire way through!

Healing Cancer God's Way
This past month marks my 5 year anniversary of being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a word I even feel very uncomfortable saying. It is supposedly incurable bone marrow cancer! Sounds very scary, right? But since day one I have not claimed it as mine. I refer to it as their diagnosis. And I can truly praise God very openly comforting me, bringing me peace, calming my doubts, increasing my faith, from day one. I never understood the bloodwork but looking back now, I can see that was a good thing. I am amazed how much strength our Lord gave me, and how much my Divine Angels always felt so near. People wonder how I can hear our Lord and honestly I have trusted in what comes to my mind when I sit still and listen. I do this every morning for at least 2 hours, and most days were closer to 4 hours! The feeling of peace is so comforting that it hard to get on with my day!
So as I might have explained in a previous blog, I refused chemo right away and I was blessed by several priests and ministers. I also rested for a month in bed and lived off of juices I made in the blender or the juicer. After 4 months, the oncologist was amazed at how much my blood had improved, but unfortunately insisted that I start chemo right away. That was very upsetting and looking back, I wonder if I could have improved my blood to the point of complete recovery. But I had chemo, which was targeted which is not so bad, and my bloodwork improved to the point that he said now it is time for a bone marrow transplant! LOL!!!! NO WAY is what the Holy Spirit was yelling in my ear! And thankfully I did not! The oncologist referred me to someone else since I was being so difficult!!
So I went for 2.5 years on juicing and supplements. Unfortunately the imbalance came back after 2 years and I still postponed chemo to the point that I was in danger, so for the past year I had chemo, immunotherapy, and steroids. I left chemo in April once my bloodwork looked just about perfect. I have been 4 months now with juicing, salads, lots of protein smoothies, eggs and meat, and supplements.
I pray every day and write what I hear. I look for signs through my reading on what to do next. And today, a little over 5 years since the diagnosis , my bloodwork looks better than when I left chemo 4 months ago! EXCEPT one problem still I have not conquered. The light chains are going up again. Yes, I could cry, but I have always, always looked at what is better than the last time. And that is my hemoglobins are perfect, my red blood cells are perfect, my white blood cells are perfect, my iron is perfect, my platelets are perfect, so on paper it looks like I do not have cancer, but the light chains is the battle. I could cry. But I know I have come many miles since 5 years ago, I praise our God for His many blessings! I will go to bed and cry for awhile, but I will know this too will change. I will be healed one day, and perfect bloodwork is pretty darn good!!! Thank you Lord, I trust you and I am here for you to walk your walk and be your child who hopes to help and inspire others. He is with me. He has confirmed to me from day one, that His will is for me to be healed and whole. He will see me through! Please pray for me to be able to heal completely so one day I can prove that God is our number one healer!! Amen XO
Always Walking With God
Four years ago today I was in the hospital, not knowing what was wrong. Clueless that the next four years I would be walking so closely to God, while He battled the cancer. I am thrilled to be able to share that this next week should confirm that I am in remission!
The deadly bone marrow cancer was not going to take me down! I know that I am called to share my story to those going
through the same misfortunes in life. I have been remaining in deep prayer every morning and taking breaks throughout the day to sit still and give my soul to God. The road has been not so hard, considering the the oncologist insisted that if I did not do what he was telling me to do, I would soon go straight down hill. But he was wrong. I listened to my heart, my soul, the Holy Spirit, which said that He was mine and I was His and I was going to be healed and made whole. I walked away from the oncologist when he insisted that I go in for a bone marrow transplant. I heard loud and clear from the Holy Spirit "No, you are not". And I repeated this to the oncologist. Yes, it was difficult, yes, he was not fond of me, and when I returned 6 months later, he referred me to someone else. All Gods plan, for sure! I researched the holistic doctors and found a 2.5 year protocol that suited me. Unfortunately after 2.5 years the cancer points starting rising. I had heard clearly that there was more I needed to be doing. But uncertain, I took my time. I finally went back to the oncologist to hear the great news that they now have antibodies that I can receive. Not chemo, not poison, but antibodies to fight the cancer in my blood! Miraculous is what I thought. God's timing was obvious to me. This was not available four years ago!
This was his plan, and I am grateful that I trusted Him. I have faith that He will always see me through every circumstance in my life now. So reassuring that the path I have walked has been proven to be His! I am not lost, I am His! Numb to the challenges and the pain that I have gone through, I continue on with infusions and bloodwork for the time being. I am working on a book of the steps I have taken in the past years of not knowing. It is a simple book, with paintings, photographs, prayers, notes from my journal, and scripture. This I will look forward to sharing soon. Your walk with God is personal, but the love we have for God is meant to be shared. Each of us have a similar path when we are walking close to God. I have come to realize that the fruits of the the Spirit are so important to study and meditate on. Do not fear, mediate on opening your heart to God, have faith, choose to be happy, forgive all of those who have hurt you, believe that God is healing you, and love above all else! In time, you will feel a nice shift in your soul. And healing will be your blessing!
God's Way of Healing Cancer

As I pass my 3 and a half year mark of being diagnosed with cancer, I can start to reflect on my journey and my faith in God. I have been working on a book of thoughts and prayers, again, but this will include my path that I have been led down along with some of my latest
paintings! To fill you in on how God has been my guide, I heard him say that I was healed and whole...this was my first deep and loud thought that came to me for a long time. I refused chemo and met with a renowned holistic doctor here in Charleston SC. He felt confident that I would be able to reduce the cancer and control it for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, I did go to the oncologist after 4 months of taking supplements and exercising and praying. He confirmed that my blood was much better to his surprise. But he was not hopeful for me and told me it was mandatory to start chemo right away. Of course, he believed my clear message from God was nonsense and that I needed to listen to him.
In total fear, I started chemo and found out after one month that my levels had gone down so drastically, that now was the best time for a bone marrow transplant. I refused. It was all going to fast for me and I could not go with his plan of killing every cell in my body, and then
waiting and hoping my body could restore itself, before a deadly virus killed me. Once again, God was screaming NO in my ear. So I left the medical world and returned to the holistic world. That was 2.5 years ago. This journey has been rewarding to experience and hear of all of the testimonies that did come true. My path has been a zig zag pattern of better, then not better in some ways. Always there was good news, then there were times that the cancer went down, then it went up. It was aggressive and now it is not.
God informed me from the beginning that there is a place in Greece that could help me. It was expensive at the time, and still is. But considering how much money has gone into healing my body, I believe that is where I should have gone from the beginning. I first started in Atlanta with The Longevity Clinic. They were able to heal my gut of so many viruses, microbes, and restore the flora. This is mandatory for healing. It is usually the problem behind all illnesses. In doing so, within 6 months the cancer was no longer aggressive. I will check in with them for the rest of my life, to stay on top of the eternal healing of my gut. I also found a holistic doctor who was able to supply many supplements to raise my immune system to the point that it is now off the charts. But, my body is not recognizing the cancer cells. This was upsetting to hear, since he had claimed this has worked with other patients.
God always shows up when I am down and out, not knowing which way to turn. Another holistic doctor heard my concerns and mentioned
RGCC out of Greece, and reminded me that she had mentioned it to me 2.5 years ago, but I brushed it off because they still perform chemo, and the cost was too expensive. At this point I had no where else to turn, so I contacted RGCC, Research Genetics Cancer Center, and I have been receiving an all natural immunotherapy, which I qualified for, from a doctor in Cumming, Ga. So far, my numbers are going in the right direction and I KNOW this is where God wants me! Yes, I am healing and yes, soon I will be healed, only through the path that God has shown me and through my faith, listening, and obeying, I will be healed and made whole!
Surviving and Thriving
Yes, its true! I too was diagnosed with cancer in 2017! Hard to believe it has been almost 3 years! I am happy
to report that I have tried the Traditional Medicine treatments of chemo and pills, but I left that when I
could not battle the voice of my Holy Spirit any longer! Knowing this was not my chosen path from the beginning,
I finally left after 8 months of trying to be a good patient. I took matters into my hands, with the grace of God, and follow my heart.
I am here and healthy today, which the doctor did not predict ! I have been writing a book of my story, my prayers, my paintings, which will be coming out in about a month, if not two. I am still putting together the final touches with my editor! It is titled Peace in the Storm, which is exactly what I have been doing....walking through a storm with God. I truly look forward to sharing it with all of my followers and my
clients, galleries, and hopefully a few book stores. I am grateful for my love and support I have from friends. It has taught me so much about life. Please stay in touch for the release soon! Still debating on the cover...but this painting Miracles Never Cease will probably be it!
