Christmas thoughts for my children

Christmas Thoughts for my children

Slow down to a pace you enjoy.

Spend quiet time with God every morning.

Wake early and watch the sunrise. It is beautiful.

Go through your day looking for little miracles or big ones!

And thank God at every opportunity.

Appreciate your surroundings.

Check your attitude and feel blessed.

Always love and forgive.

Honor yourself.

Pray for integrity and intelligence.

To be wise is what we all strive for.

Be grateful you are able to grow and change.

Look for your passion in life and do it with all your heart.

Love all children.

Be kind and patient with the old. They were once children, too.

Love…at all times

God is love… do not take Him for granted.

And most of all always cherish your life.

You are loved very much!

Your mom!

Story behind my Latest Painting

This painting was a 48x48...it is now a 27x48! The painting was painted over a year ago and had it's home at Huff Harrington for a year. Since it had never sold, I asked for it back and cut off the bottom 21 inches of the painting! It was all water and reflection, so I felt it was much prettier focusing in on the mood of the early morning. The painting now captures the softness of the sky and the beautiful contrast of the dark reflection in the water. And obviously, I like the colors! It goes perfect above my sofa!
